Edit a Training

When editing a training, you can change its main characteristics: its name, the associated sport, its tags, and its description.

A training can be completed by a series of steps and repeats:

  • Each step corresponds to an interval with specific instructions.
  • A repeat is a block of predefined steps that need to be done several times

You can include a second repeat inside a first one if you want.

You can drag and drop your steps and repeat to reorganise them.

edit the steps / repeats:

  1. The “Interval Training” button is a shortcut that automatically fill an empty training with a Warm-up, a Repeat containing two steps and a Cool Down
  2. To add a step at the end of your training
  3. To add a repeat at the end of the training
  4. The number of times you want the “block” to be repeated
  5. To add a second repeat inside the first one
  6. To add a new step in the repeat
  7. To delete a repeat (and its steps)
  8. To duplicate a step
  9. To delete a step

A step is made of four elements:

  1. the type of step. A step can be: a Warm-up, the “a working interval” (it takes the name of the sport), a Recovery (generally used between high intensity intervals), a Cool down (usually at the ned of the training), a Break, Streches or anything else (“Other“).
  2. The duration of the step: it can be expressed as a distance, as a time or as a threshold to cross (ascent, heart rate).
  3. The intensity of the step. This field is optional and can be expressed in absolute terms (a Pace or Speed, a Cadence) or relative to an indicator (% of): Max HR, Reserve HR, your Threshold, your Maximum Aerobic Speed or Maximum Aerobic Power. This field can also be used to express a method, for example a type of stroke.
  4. The notes: each step and repeat can have a note to specifiy instructions when needed.

All the fields can be specified as “Other” in which case you will have to fill a text area.

When you are done, save or cancel your changes.
